About the position

The Compliance Coordinator at GMG EnviroSafe is responsible for managing client relationships while ensuring compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. This role involves conducting facility assessments, providing training, and maintaining compliance checklists to mitigate risks related to employee safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact and representative of GMG EnviroSafe with an assigned group of customers in a defined territory.
• Collaborate with the internal research team to stay informed on compliance requirements specific to assigned customers.
• Conduct assessments of customer's facilities to identify areas of non-compliance.
• Compile and distribute completed assessment forms to internal customer care staff and assigned customers.
• Conduct 1-hour long annual training classes with employees of assigned customers.
• Maintain the assigned customer's compliance progress checklist throughout the relationship, identify outstanding items, and assist the customer to complete.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work from home with a functional laptop and high-speed internet connection.
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, including local and week-long out-of-state trips.
• Great communication skills: clear, direct, and accessible.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence.
