About the position

The Compliance Director at Elevance Health is responsible for overseeing foundational and strategic compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to federal mandates and third-party administration responsibilities. This role involves advising internal stakeholders, leading compliance monitoring, and managing complex investigations while interacting frequently with senior leadership and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Direct projects, initiatives, regulatory audits, and internal audits.
• Lead compliance monitoring to identify process gaps and validate compliance levels.
• Advise on strategic plans and make recommendations to leadership.
• Develop and implement annual compliance plans.
• Lead complex investigations and document findings.
• Build strong relationships with key leaders to address compliance risks.
• Oversee compliance responsibilities across various brands and lines of business.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in health care, regulatory, ethics, compliance, or privacy.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.

Nice-to-haves
