About the position
The Compliance Inspector at Table Mountain Rancheria is responsible for monitoring and reporting on compliance with regulatory standards, casino policies, and procedures. This role involves observing activities within the casino, ensuring adherence to gaming regulations, and addressing patron disputes. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to understand and apply various gaming rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Observe documents and report on daily activities, including any identified violations of regulatory standards and casino policies.
- Comprehend and understand all casino departmental policies and procedures.
- Communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal forms.
- Understand the rules, functions, and methods of playing various casino games and gambling devices.
- Monitor and detect deviations in the destruction, removal, or installation of gaming devices and equipment.
- Assist in completing paperwork for incoming shipments.
- Verify jackpot payouts in accordance with Gaming Commission rules and regulations.
- Respond to unresolved patron disputes according to Tribal Gaming Commission guidelines.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One or more years of regulatory compliance or equivalent relevant experience.
- Knowledge of basic math and good communication skills.
- Ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
