About the position

The Compliance Manager for U.S. and Canada at Teleflex is responsible for overseeing compliance within assigned business units, ensuring that commercial and medical activities adhere to applicable laws and industry standards. This role involves providing guidance, conducting investigations, and developing compliance training, all while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. The position requires in-person presence at a Teleflex office at least four days a week and involves collaboration with various stakeholders to promote an ethical business environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a business partner by providing guidance on compliance issues related to commercial and medical activities across various business units.
• Identify risks and develop solutions to mitigate them.
• Analyze data and trends, communicating complex information to all levels of the company.
• Develop and deliver compliance training for employees, distributors, and leadership.
• Ensure compliance of engagements with healthcare professionals (HCPs) with policies and laws.
• Support Global Compliance projects as needed and provide weekly updates to compliance management.
• Supervise and conduct investigations of potential violations of law and company policy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality during investigations.
• Execute live monitoring and data auditing, maintaining communication with the Americas Compliance Department.
• Develop communications to reinforce the business commitment to compliance and ethics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in Healthcare, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in medical device, pharmaceuticals, or related healthcare industries required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
• Ability to interact and influence management at different levels in a cross-functional environment.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, and motivated with a high level of accountability.
