About the position

The Compliance Manager at Colder Products Company (CPC) is responsible for overseeing the compliance and contract management programs, ensuring alignment with Dover standards. This role involves developing and implementing compliance policies, monitoring compliance programs, conducting training, and managing risk assessments. The Compliance Manager will also serve as a liaison for legal matters and ensure adherence to contract management procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee CPC's compliance program and ensure alignment with Dover's corporate compliance program.
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and update CPC specific compliance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Oversee the global trade compliance program, including US and China regulations.
  • Monitor the compliance program using key indicators and develop dashboards and reports for management.
  • Develop and execute a training program focusing on compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Track compliance-related industry changes and assess their impact on CPC processes.
  • Manage the customer and vendor diligence program.
  • Collaborate with management to escalate compliance issues for investigation and resolution.
  • Assist in investigations of potential noncompliance concerns when requested.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments of activities presenting compliance-related risks.
  • Assist in diligence for potential new acquisitions and integration of newly acquired companies.
  • Manage anti-corruption compliance across CPC.
  • Act as a liaison to internal and external auditors during compliance reviews.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance measures are followed.
  • Advise management on legal, compliance, and business risks and mitigation efforts.
  • Serve as a primary contact for legal matters, including contracts and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure contract management program policies and procedures are maintained and followed consistently.
  • Manage contract review workflow from request to final distribution.

Requirements

  • Degree in business or a related field from an accredited university required.
  • Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of related experience or master's/juris doctorate with 4-6 years of related experience.
  • Import/export compliance experience.
  • Certification such as LCB, CPA, CIA, CP, or CCEP is a plus.
  • Ability to understand, evaluate, and improve internal controls.
  • Proficient with contract management system operations.
  • Experience conducting third-party due diligence and applying global anti-bribery and corruption laws.
  • Experience in counseling leadership on complex compliance and regulatory issues.
