About the position

The Compliance Operations Manager at UMass Memorial Health is responsible for overseeing the management and updating of the Conflict of Interest (COI) system, ensuring data alignment with Workday and other IT systems. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain accurate reporting and data aggregation, as well as providing technical support for the COI system. The position also includes supervisory responsibilities, guiding a team to achieve departmental objectives while fostering a respectful and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Update and manage the Conflict of Interest (COI) system for UMMH and UMass Chan.
• Align and maintain data consistent with Workday and other key IT systems.
• Collaborate with UMass Chan and vendors to update the system monthly.
• Aggregate and report COI data, including monthly entity status reports and other requested reports.
• Conduct pre-production testing with vendors and the COI Team.
• Provide technical support for COI system users.
• Supervise assigned personnel, including performance evaluations and training.
• Coordinate task assignments and resolve technical and operational problems.
• Provide direction and leadership to staff for effective teamwork and motivation.
• Integrate diversity into departmental objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three to five years of related experience required.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex projects across multiple departments.
• Impeccable attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proven track record of executing complex projects across teams.
• Strong data aggregation and report generation skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products, including Excel, Tableau, and SQL.
