About the position

The Compliance & Risk Management Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Compliance and Risk Management Department by maintaining confidentiality and managing various projects and assignments. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of the department's functions, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and the organization's standards of behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accuracy of the contract database by adding, modifying, and archiving executed contracts.
  • Work with new and existing database users to set up profiles and manage role permissions.
  • Provide training and technical support to users of the contract database.
  • Generate customized workflows and reports as requested.
  • Prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of reports and contracts.
  • Manage the filing system and organize administrative team meetings.
  • Gather reports and research to support corporate compliance investigations.
  • Prepare applications required for corporate insurance under guidance of the VP, Chief Compliance Officer.
  • Schedule and support coordination of internal audits and Corporate Compliance Committee meetings.
  • Assist the Manager of Risk Management in scheduling and coordinating meetings with legal counsel and other outside entities.
  • Maintain the time and attendance database for the department.
  • Oversee the business functioning of the Administrative Annex, including ordering supplies and scheduling classrooms.
  • Maintain the Corporate Compliance and Risk Management Intranet Site.
  • Support the department with quarterly Corporate Compliance Newsletter publication.
  • Handle other special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Two years' college degree preferably with experience working in a business office or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • One year of experience with databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
