The Compliance and Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring the company complies with all DOT regulations, including FMCSA, OSHA, state-specific safety requirements, as well as TSA regulations. The role involves overseeing fleet management, ensuring regular vehicle inspections and maintenance, and maintaining accurate compliance records. This position collaborates with HR and operations to ensure proper documentation for drivers and conducts safety audits to identify and address potential risks. The manager is also responsible for developing safety training programs, investigating compliance violations, and communicating with regulatory agencies. Ultimately, this role facilitates the company’s ongoing compliance with transportation safety regulations and ensures that safety is a top priority for all terminals.
