About the position

The Sr. Analyst role focuses on supporting internal business areas in identifying and addressing regulatory compliance risks. This position involves collaborating with business units to understand policies and processes, providing compliance guidance, and executing compliance strategies. The analyst will communicate effectively with internal partners and escalate compliance issues as necessary, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and address current and emerging regulatory compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with internal business areas to implement policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks.
  • Research laws and regulations to provide compliance guidance to internal partners.
  • Articulate compliance risks to leadership and influence business decisions accordingly.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and gap analyses to identify and address deficiencies.
  • Stay current on regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure compliance program relevance.
  • Advise on compliance matters and escalate issues to compliance leadership as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Compliance, Risk, Business or equivalent education.
  • Two or more years of experience in Consumer credit, banking compliance, and/or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Applicable Compliance certification(s) including CRCM, CAMS, CIPP or other related certifications.
  • Experience in Open End Consumer Credit Card Lending and Banking Compliance (Fair Lending, Regulation B/ECOA, TILA/Regulation Z, FCRA, and UDAAP).
