About the position

The Compliance Specialist will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for regulatory compliance at Honda's MAP facility. This role involves managing and promoting adherence to regulatory requirements through various activities such as document control, auditing, tracking, reporting, and education. The specialist will support both internal and external audits, develop training materials, and ensure that all compliance-related activities are effectively communicated and executed within the plant.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Regulatory Compliance Person in Charge (PIC) for the Plant, ensuring understanding and communication of regulations.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of model Control Plans and Inspection Standards, facilitating documentation and completion activities with department representatives.
  • Support and lead internal regulatory compliance audits, including preparation, conducting audits, and addressing concerns found.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with requirements and support departments in clarifying requirements and developing sustainable solutions.
  • Develop training materials and lead training sessions for regulation knowledge based on individual roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality/Management related field or equivalent Manufacturing/Compliance experience.
  • 0-5 years of related experience in compliance or regulatory roles.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills to summarize results and countermeasure activities clearly to multiple levels.
  • Project and problem management capabilities.
  • Ability to train others effectively.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude towards improving quality processes.
  • Experience in group speaking and presenting.
