Responsibilities
- Manage and advise clients on major litigation, project/transaction
- Identify facts and spot major legal issues through communication with business units
- Review legal risks, discover alternatives, and present opinions through legal research and analysis
- When necessary, consult with outside counsel and analyze their opinions
- Report legal opinions as well as practical alternatives to business units and key decision makers for informed decision
- Conduct strategic planning
- Through close communication with the Division leader, set directions, draft and implement plans for various issues within the Division to achieve best results
- Consult and facilitate agreements between and among relevant departments
- Prepare various materials and reports (Powerpoint, Excel, and Word) required to support progress of the projects
Requirements
- Licensed attorney in good standing in the jurisdiction(s) admitted with 3+ years of experience preferred
- Must be Bilingual in English and Korean
- Must have experience in drafting, proofreading and redlining legal documents
- Experience in practicing law, handling civil litigation or trial cases preferred
- Must have positive attitude and ability to develop and implement new ideas to create customized solution on client-by-client basis
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have excellent organizational skills, be analytical and able to multitask
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
