In this role, you will assist in the development, implementation, and support of business analytics initiatives, tools, processes, and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in data analysis, technology, some banking experience, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing banking data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, documenting data analysis findings, compliance trends, and regulatory issues, and contributing to the preparation of reports for management and regulatory agencies. Additionally, you will participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge of banking regulations, compliance processes, technology, and data analysis techniques. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to address compliance concerns, share insights, and contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance processes. You will also assist in identifying opportunities to automate processes and tasks related to compliance functions and data analysis, utilizing tools such as Python, Power Automate, and Visual Studio. Performing quality assurance checks on data analysis and automation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of results will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by senior team members, gaining exposure to various aspects of banking compliance and data analysis.
