The Component Shop Supervisor at Jet Midwest is responsible for leading a team in the maintenance facility in Kansas City, MO. Responsibilities
- Monitor employee time, on and off jobs
- Monitor cost associated with work in progress
- Monitor material needs
- Ensure mechanics have adequate tools and supplies for the job
- Keep an ongoing projected revenue per month
- Supervise and manage team of technicians and lead
- Follow all policies and procedures
- Keep a clean and orderly work environment
- Perform job duties in a safe manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
- 5 or more years of repair/overhaul/inspection of aircraft components
- Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations airworthiness requirements
- Knowledge of general removal, repair, and inspection procedures of aircraft parts/components
- Possess adequate tools
- Successful background check and drug screening
