About the position

The Comptroller - System Support Operations Specialist role is designed for individuals eager to contribute to the Information Technology division of the Comptroller's Office. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team to produce confidential print reports.
• Develop print reports and perform quality control measures.
• Manage and monitor thousands of mainframe jobs.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and applications.
• Answer and track customer calls and issues via an automated tracking tool.
• Coordinate with IT sections to determine issues and resolutions.
• Communicate job and print status to customers and complete required logs for tracking.
• Implement, schedule, and coordinate production and user testing.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment according to vendor agreements.
• Analyze work production and report failures or abnormalities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of work experience in an IT operations environment, including customer service support and working in a large print shop.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems.
• Experience working in a customer service environment supplying reports to customers.
• Experience in a mainframe environment and printing machinery that requires preventive maintenance.
• Experience maintaining and servicing peripheral devices.
