About the position

The Comptroller at Golden Touch Home Care Services, LLC is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing and managing all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions within the organization. This role ensures compliance with financial regulations, manages accounting processes, and fosters a positive workplace culture while ensuring operational efficiency. The Comptroller will provide strategic financial guidance and ensure accurate financial reporting, playing a crucial role in the financial health and success of the corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop budgets and financial forecasts to help the organization plan for the future.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and safeguard the organization's assets.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for improved financial performance.
  • Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring effective day-to-day operations and establishing a process for purchase orders.
  • Communicate financial information to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive Comptroller/Accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting/Tax laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience working in multi-entity environments and managing diverse teams.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with accounting software and tools (QuickBooks, payroll systems, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
