About The Position
The Comptroller position in the City of Phenix City is a full-time role under the direction of the Finance Director. The role involves performing and reviewing various accounting tasks, including payroll administration, purchasing, revenue collection, and managing accounts payable and receivable functions. The Comptroller will supervise the preparation of financial reports and audits, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and represent the Finance Department in the absence of the Finance Director.
