Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory analysis on DNA/RNA/and Proteins
  • Perform computational analysis on DNA sequences
  • Organize and back up essential data
  • Manage communications with team members
  • Participate in scientific paper and grant writing

Requirements

  • B.S. in biology-related field
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze DNA data
  • Strong communication skills in interpersonal communication and in scientific communication

Nice-to-haves

  • M.S. in biology-related discipline
  • Self-starter
  • Experience publishing scientific papers
  • Experience with research related to insect silk
