Responsibilities

• Defining standards and providing solutions for on-prem deployments of server hardware.
• Certifying server hardware according to firm-wide standards to enhance operations stability, resilience, and performance.
• Identifying and assessing risks related to server infrastructure and providing mitigation plans.
• Planning and implementing solutions in collaboration with other groups and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8-10 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
• Experience in support and maintenance of server and storage infrastructure.
• Experience in virtualization technology, building physical and virtual servers.
• Experience with large scale server management tools and OS provisioning.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes, Agile, and Scrum.
