About the position

Praescient Analytics has an immediate opening for a Computer Exploitation Test Engineer (Penetration Tester) to support the 1st IO Command at Fort Belvoir, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting all-source analytic production of future and current leading-edge technologies and their military applications worldwide. This includes projecting the discovery, development, and deployment of advanced technologies and assessing their potential impact on U.S. forces globally. You will provide risk assessments on the transfer and diversion of defense and dual-use U.S. technologies, evaluating the national security implications associated with foreign involvement in critical U.S. defense technology and sectors. Your work will produce intelligence for the U.S. National, Defense, and Acquisition Communities, and you will conduct all-source analysis to identify, exploit, and assess potential threats, transfers, and vulnerabilities to defense supply chains. As a Computer Exploitation Engineer, you will need to demonstrate comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirm completion of all developmental training and experiences for this role. You will be expected to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and/or technically advanced. Structuring analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines will be crucial. You will work independently with minimal oversight and direction while collaborating with other Intelligence Community (IC) members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution. Additionally, you will develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all-source analytic production of future and current leading-edge technologies and their military applications worldwide.
  • Project the discovery, development, and deployment of advanced technologies and their potential impact on U.S. forces worldwide.
  • Provide risk assessments on the transfer and diversion of defense and dual-use U.S. technologies.
  • Assess national security implications associated with foreign involvement in critical U.S. defense technology and defense sectors.
  • Produce intelligence for the U.S. National, Defense, and Acquisition Communities.
  • Conduct all-source analysis to identify, exploit, and assess potential threats, transfers, and vulnerabilities to defense supply chains.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience conducting analysis, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Active TS/SCI or higher clearance (Must Have).
  • IAT Level III certification.
  • Windows CE and Linux CE certifications.
  • OSCP or GPEN certification.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in collaborating with other IC members on information sharing and driving collection.
  • Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
