About the position

The Computer Hardware Test Engineer will lead hardware engineering efforts for training systems, focusing on specifications, installation, troubleshooting, equipment management, and team mentorship. This role involves supporting complex training systems through computer engineering and hardware integration activities, working collaboratively with a skilled team using advanced technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support the computer hardware engineering effort for training systems.
• Review and produce detailed specifications for proposed hardware solutions.
• Lead team for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer or computer-related equipment.
• Develop, track, and manage all equipment and deliverables (Drawings, manuals, reports, labeling, inventory).
• Interact with internal and external personnel to ensure product delivery.
• Provide mentorship and training.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• BS/BA degree and 8 years experience
• MS Windows experience
• Experience installing, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining computer equipment, peripherals, audio visual equipment.
