About the position

The Computer Hardware Test Engineer at Obsidian Solutions Group is responsible for leading hardware engineering efforts for training systems, including overseeing specifications, installation, troubleshooting, and equipment management. This role involves working with a team of skilled professionals to support complex training systems and ensure effective hardware integration.

Responsibilities

• Support the computer hardware engineering effort for training systems.
• Review and produce detailed specifications for proposed hardware solutions.
• Lead team for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer or computer-related equipment.
• Develop, track, and manage all equipment and deliverables (Drawings, manuals, reports, labeling, inventory).
• Interact with internal and external personnel to ensure product delivery.
• Provide mentorship and training.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• BS/BA degree and 8 years experience
• MS Windows experience
• Experience installing, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining computer equipment, peripherals, audio visual equipment.
