About the position
The Program Coordinator for Computer Information Systems and Network Systems Management is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the instructional programs within these departments. This role includes teaching, curriculum development, student advising, and managing adjunct faculty. The coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the programs offered.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in Computer Information Systems and Network Systems Management.
- Design and develop curriculum for the assigned programs.
- Evaluate adjunct personnel and student performance.
- Advise students on academic and career matters.
- Plan and schedule non-credit courses.
- Recruit and assign adjunct faculty for non-credit classes.
- Maintain office hours for student support.
- Assist the department head/dean with scheduling, budgets, and curriculum development.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Programming, Networking, Information Systems, Information Security, or a related field.
- Two years of progressively responsible related work experience.
