About the position

Auria is seeking a dedicated Computer Operations Support Analyst (COSA) to join our Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. This position is based at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO, and involves rotating 24x7 shift work, which will be determined by mission requirements. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team that reports to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO) and is responsible for daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the C2BMC systems in a continuous operations and test environment. The role requires providing first-level technical support to the warfighter and performing initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC hardware, software, and networks. In this position, the candidate will document and report all events and issues to the CWO, receiving tasking and direction from the Command and Control Center (CCC) for all operations, tests, and real-world events. The COSA will also assist in hardware and software installations as directed by local Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and will create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local Information System Security Officer (ISSO). The role includes operating and sustaining the C2BMC mission systems and/or training systems environment for operational and training missions supported by C2BMC's presence in the Missile Defense Integration & Operations Center (MDIOC). Additionally, the COSA will support training systems by operating the Distributed Training System (DTS) Control Center (DCC) as necessary to train, qualify, certify, and maintain Warfighter proficiency at various operating locations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC hardware, software, and networks.
  • Document and report all events/issues to the CWO and receive tasking and direction from the CCC for all operations, tests & real-world events.
  • Assist in all hardware/software installations directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO.
  • Operate and sustain the C2BMC mission systems and/or training systems environment for operational and training missions supported by C2BMC's presence in the MDIOC.
  • Support training systems by operating the DTS Control Center (DCC) as necessary to train, qualify, certify, and maintain Warfighter proficiency.

Requirements

  • An active Secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Specialized Training, or related field; 4 years experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA).
  • Experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments.
  • Experience in system and/or network administration that includes UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco, and Juniper.
  • Experienced in troubleshooting hardware and software components.

Nice-to-haves

  • Active TS/SCI clearance is highly desired.
  • Experience and knowledge of C2BMC Systems or Missile Defense Systems.
