The Computer Operator - Data Center Technician role focuses on providing technical support and customer service in a data center environment. The primary responsibility is to ensure client satisfaction by resolving complex technical issues and maintaining server and networking equipment. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow in the technology field while working with various hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Rack, build, cable, configure, and provision Intel and AMD servers.
• Rack, cable, and deploy Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment.
• Troubleshoot, test, and perform quality assurance of server hardware.
• Professionally resolve hardware issues via trouble ticket.

Requirements

• Operating System Installation experience with Windows Server, Linux, and Unix.
• Ability to rack, cable, and deploy Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment.
• Experience with web server and database installation is a plus.
• Must be able to work in this country without company sponsorship.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Willingness to learn quickly, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Moderate knowledge of PC hardware concepts and component installation.
• Basic knowledge of various internet-related services and software (mail, web, DNS, etc.).
• General understanding of computer networking concepts.
• Customer-focused attitude with some previous customer service experience.
• Network wiring/cabling experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Windows and Linux Platforms.
• Experience with computer/server hardware.
• Certifications are not required but are a plus.
