About the position

StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Computer Programmer, Journeyman to join their team at NAWCTSD in Orlando, FL. This role involves developing software-driven training systems in a lab environment, focusing on coding, testing, and debugging web applications while ensuring compliance with Naval Cyber Security and software development regulations.

Responsibilities

• Code, test and debug web page/application enhancements and revisions for internal and external websites.
• Integrate graphics and user interfaces into applications.
• Create, modify, and test code, forms, and scripts for computer applications.
• Analyze user needs and assist in designing software solutions.
• Develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents and data.
• Ensure compliance with Naval Cyber Security Rules and Regulations.
• Adhere to Naval software development and maintenance Rules and Regulations.
• Follow Naval Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) requirements and regulations.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience with computer programming, UI, data structures, frameworks, and operating systems.
• Experience with MVC (model view controller pattern).
• Proficiency in AZURE Dev Ops.
• Experience with SQL Developer in Stored Procedures, Scripting, and Database Design.
• Knowledge of programming languages including C#, MS SQL 2019 and greater, JavaScript, .NET Framework 4.7.2, and ASP.NET code base MVC.
• Experience with Telerik DevCraft.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other developers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills with clarity and correct grammar.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with an interdisciplinary team is preferred.
• Certification in Telerik DevCraft, SQL Server 2019 or later, Visual Studio Enterprise Edition 2022 or later.
