About The Position

Portland State University's Department of Computer Science invites applications for Adjunct Instructors with expertise in core areas of computer science and teaching experience to teach undergraduate sections of courses in computer science. Instructors must be qualified to teach courses in one or more of the following core areas, or in areas that align with specific department needs: (see PSU Bulletin for individual course descriptions).

Requirements

• Expertise in core areas of computer science.
• Teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
• Ability to teach one or more specified courses.

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with online or hybrid teaching formats.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate sections of computer science courses.
• Prepare course materials and assessments.
