About the position
This is a full-time, tenure track and benefit-eligible faculty position at Waynesburg University, available starting Fall 2023. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. The salary for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach 12 credits per semester in computer science courses.
- Advise undergraduate students.
- Develop, review, and revise curriculum.
- Participate in service to the University, department, discipline, and local community.
Requirements
- M.S. in Computer Science (Ph.D. preferred) or ABD equivalent in computer science.
- Previous experience teaching in a university/college setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated excellent teaching abilities in classic areas of computer science.
- Specific knowledge in an application of computer science such as cybersecurity, software development, or data science.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in teaching undergraduate students in computer science.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and review processes.
