Computer Science Instructor

About the position

The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics seeks applicants for a part-time Instructor to teach three sections of Introduction to Computers course. The course covers roles and types of technology, digital information literacy skills, online security, safety and ethics, webpage creation and operating systems. Courses are scheduled to be taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Teach three sections of Introduction to Computers course.
• Cover roles and types of technology in the course.
• Instruct students on digital information literacy skills.
• Educate on online security, safety, and ethics.
• Guide students in webpage creation and operating systems.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in an area of technology and/or education.
• Prior experience teaching in a university/college setting preferred.
• Commitment to the mission and purpose of Christian higher education.
