Noblis is seeking a "rockstar" computer scientist to join an R&D team working on cutting-edge genetic algorithm research. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to learn and apply NVIDIA's novel, pre-release CUDA technologies to foundational genetic algorithm research. Noblis is a non-profit science and technology think-tank. In 2024, The Washington Post named Noblis a “Top Workplace” in the Washington, D.C. area for the 11th consecutive year. As part of this role, you will be involved in inventing, designing, and implementing an advanced genetic algorithm framework, developing high-performance CPU and low-level GPU code, and collaborating with the CUDA design team at NVIDIA. You will also have the opportunity to present research findings at scientific conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals, as well as contribute technical content to grant proposals and white papers.
