About the position

SAIC is seeking a Computer Scientist to support the US Navy in Crane, IN. The role involves data analysis, ingestion, and visualization, as well as the development and maintenance of data pipelines to support a data warehouse and other data products.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis, ingestion, and visualization.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using SQL, Python, R, Databricks, or Synapse.
• Use Power BI, R, Python, SQL, etc. to analyze data and implement quality control checks.
• Assist other analysts in using analytic platforms as needed.
• Use GitHub and Microsoft DevOps for version control and collaboration.
• Present findings, approaches, and processes to the team, Division, or management verbally and/or in writing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and zero (0) or more years of experience.
• Experience with a combination of Power BI, R, Python, or SQL.
• Effective communication skills with all levels of personnel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interim secret clearance with the ability to obtain a full secret clearance.
• US Citizenship required.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience supporting DoD and/or NSWC Crane.
