About the position

The Computer Support/Sales Associate at Ribbit Computers is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while troubleshooting technical computer issues, assisting with device setups, and selling computers and related services. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and effective service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to troubleshoot technical computer issues and fully document actions and results.
  • Assist clients with new device setups.
  • Sell computers and services.
  • Work with a team to service devices, sell services, and research new techniques and products we can sell.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) years' work experience in an IT related field, customer service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
  • Strong and persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with clients and coworkers.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a congenial manner.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and understand Windows 8.1, 10, and 11, as well as macOS and familiarity with Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize to achieve a defined objective.

Benefits

  • Starting pay: Training $14/hr after training $16/hr
