About the position
The Computer Support Technician role at Oneida Technical Solutions involves providing technical support in a distributed PC/networking environment. The technician will be responsible for installation, testing, repair, and troubleshooting of personal computers and peripherals, ensuring effective operation and user support.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for distributed PC/networking environment including installation, testing, repair, and troubleshooting of PCs and peripherals.
- Install and configure operating systems and application software programs.
- Perform technical, operational, and training support to users via telephone or on-site.
- Troubleshoot computer problems and perform hardware and software diagnostics.
- Coordinate repairs and resolve computer system issues, including local area network components.
- Evaluate system configuration and software for optimal performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of related industry experience.
- Related DOD baseline certification.
- Secret Clearance required.
