About the position
The Computer Support Technician role at Oneida Technical Solutions involves providing technical support in a distributed PC/networking environment. The technician will be responsible for the installation, testing, repair, and troubleshooting of personal computers and peripherals, ensuring efficient operation and user satisfaction. This position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract and requires a Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for stand-alone PCs and networked PCs, including installation, testing, and repair.
- Troubleshoot computer problems and perform hardware and software diagnostics.
- Install and configure operating systems and application software programs.
- Coordinate repairs and resolve computer system issues, including local area network components.
- Provide technical, operational, and training support to users via telephone or on-site.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of related industry experience.
- Related DOD baseline certification.
- Secret Clearance required.
