About the position

The Computer System Analyst & Network Administrator role at IMG involves performing a variety of technical tasks related to system analysis and network administration. The position requires maintaining and managing various IT systems, ensuring cybersecurity compliance, and supporting the infrastructure's availability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft and Cisco technologies, as well as experience with virtualization and backup solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an on-site Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Skype deployment
  • Maintain a Cisco WAN and LAN using technologies such as SD-WAN, FirePower, and DNA Center
  • Configure, tune, and monitor a Splunk Enterprise SIEM including monitoring, rulesets, and response
  • Manage Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux Clients and Servers using Ivanti Endpoint Manager
  • Manage a virtual environment containing VMWare and NetApp products
  • Manage a backup and disaster recovery solution using Commvault
  • Support escalated requests from the helpdesk and escalation analysts within established SLA measurements
  • Maintain the availability of the customer's infrastructure and support emergent issues
  • Perform required maintenance to maintain cybersecurity compliance with established windows and/or procedures
  • Follow approved configuration control procedures provided by the Government
  • Perform additional routine IT tasks of varying complexity as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have an active DOE Q clearance or an active DOD Top Secret clearance; Active Secret clearance may be considered
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field with four (4) years of relevant experience; or an Associate's Degree with six (6) years of experience; or a High School Degree with ten (10) years of experience
  • Cisco CCNP certification (CCNA may be substituted with 3+ years of experience in Cisco networking)
  • Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin and Splunk Enterprise Core Certified Power User
  • Experience with VMWare and NetApp
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Experience with Microsoft Client and Server On-Prem solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Skype On-Prem solutions
  • Experience with Commvault
