The Computer Systems Administrator position at Booker DiMaio, LLC is a 6-month contract role requiring US Citizenship due to the need for a Public Trust Clearance. The role involves both onsite work in Frederick, MD and the flexibility of one day per week working from home. The primary focus is on the installation, maintenance, and security of computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance and user support.

Responsibilities

  • Installing and maintaining computer hardware and software, including operating systems and applications.
  • Configuring systems, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to users.
  • Maintaining security for networks and systems, including performing security tests and monitoring.
  • Evaluating and optimizing network and system performance.
  • Adding users to networks, assigning security permissions, and training users.
  • Monitoring data centers and resources to ensure systems are working properly.
  • Performing data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Quickly resolving network problems, such as computer viruses, slow performance, and DNS issues.
  • Keeping equipment and software up to date.
  • Responding to incidents and providing problem resolution assistance.

Requirements

  • Experience with hardware and software installation.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory.
  • Experience with Virtual Machines (VMs).

Benefits

  • Paid on a 1099 hourly basis for the duration of the contract.
