About the position

The Computer Systems Analyst I - GIS Analyst will provide support for Telecommunication Operational Support and Sustainment (TOSS) services at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station (NCTS) Guam. This role involves managing GIS databases, creating maps and graphics, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity requirements while supporting network operations and information assurance for Navy commands.

Responsibilities

  • Perform GIS database implementation and management.
  • Manage existing GIS OSP data.
  • Capture and database new GIS OSP data.
  • Perform GIS database reporting.
  • Create maps and graphics using installed ESRI ArcGIS systems, GIS databases, and legacy OSP data.
  • Implement and maintain ESRI ArcGIS version 9 and version 10 software installations.
  • Work with Navy enterprise GIS systems to develop reports on Guam BCO OSP data.
  • Perform OSP planning and reporting.
  • Support restoration of high priority NCTS Base Communications network and system outages 24/7.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Valid Guam driver's license is required.
  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience performing Computer Systems Analyst related functions.
  • Must possess and maintain an IAT level II certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain background investigation and security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • GISP certification preferred.
