About the position

The Computer Systems Analyst - Knowledge Management Specialist at Northrop Grumman plays a crucial role in supporting the Army National Guard's Mission Command Training Support Program. This position involves managing knowledge management processes, overseeing content on SharePoint portals, and ensuring effective communication and data management across various program sites. The role requires collaboration with government entities and the ability to handle sensitive data, making it essential for the candidate to possess a strong background in web-based collaboration environments and data management.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the function of Knowledge Management (KM) Specialist for all program sites.
  • Regularly work with the Installation Network Enterprise Center (NEC) and Government sensitive data, representing the Government at meetings and conferences.
  • Manage content on the Mission Training Complex (MTC) SharePoint portal and interface with MTC Government KM Leads, staff, and MTC directors.
  • Assist the Task Order Manager and Site Leads with the development of new knowledge management processes, support diagnosis of current issues, and redesign processes for effectiveness.
  • Maintain and update the MTC Management Information System (MIS) SharePoint site.
  • Maintain Customer Partner Access (CPA) for the MIS program and grant access to new users as needed.
  • Assist users with gaining access and resolving issues with MIS.
  • Ensure all valid external partners are extended every 6 months.
  • Draft, consolidate, finalize, and submit the Northrop Grumman Monthly Report.
  • Post Monthly Report data on MIS and d drive, and archive historical Monthly Report data.
  • Compile and post contract, fiscal, and calendar year roll up data on MIS and d drive.
  • Compile and post monthly Hub and Spoke report data for the Contract Management Review (CMR) annual roll up.
  • Compile and track monthly labor hours report to sector leadership for MCTSP program personnel.
  • Draft and finalize the monthly MTC Scheduled Training Report for presentation at the monthly Training Resource Integration Conference (TRIC).
  • Compile MTC Weekly Report data from program sites and send to Program Manager.
  • Draft, consolidate, finalize, and submit monthly No-Show Report to DPTMS.
  • Maintain PDS checks roster and distribute to all personnel.
  • Gather, consolidate, and input data into the Training Support-Material Army-wide Tracking System (TS-MATS) on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure all data for each quarter is entered into the TS-MATS NLT the fifth working day of the quarter.
  • Create quarterly reports for the ARNG MCTSP MTC Director and send quarterly report to IMCOM point of contact on order.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience working in a Microsoft SharePoint (or similar) web-based collaboration environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Microsoft SharePoint (or similar) web-based collaboration environment.
  • Master's degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience designing and implementing web design, collaboration tools, and content management.
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite and its application in operational reports, training reports, and calendars.
  • Must have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
  • Must be able to work on-site at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas.

Nice-to-haves

  • Computing Environment (CE) certification.
  • Minimum of 10 years military experience.
  • Knowledge of TS-MATS system.
