About the position

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Computer Systems Analyst Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing various data processing problems across science, engineering, business, and other domains to implement and enhance computer systems. Your primary focus will be on understanding user requirements, procedures, and challenges to automate or improve existing systems. You will also review the capabilities of computer systems, assess workflow, and identify scheduling limitations. This position may involve analyzing or recommending commercially available software solutions to meet project needs. As a lead analyst, you will provide technical and management leadership on significant tasks or technology assignments. You will establish goals and plans that align with project objectives, leveraging your domain expertise and technical knowledge. Your role will include directing and controlling activities for clients, ensuring that financial management, methods, and staffing align with technical requirements. You will engage in client negotiations and interface with senior management, where your decision-making and domain knowledge will critically impact overall project implementation. Additionally, you may supervise other team members, guiding them in their tasks and responsibilities. Responsibilities

  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems.
  • Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
  • Analyze or recommend commercially available software solutions.
  • Provide technical and management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
  • Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives.
  • Direct and control activities for a client, ensuring financial management and technical requirements are met.
  • Engage in client negotiations and interface with senior management.
  • Supervise other team members as necessary.

Requirements

  • Master's degree and 15+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree and 18+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience related to Data Modeling, Data Architecture, or in the information assurance and/or cybersecurity field.
  • Current and active TS/SCI w/Poly clearance.
