About the position

The Computer Systems Analyst position at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) involves providing IT management advisory support to the NSWC Corona Division. The role focuses on assessing and improving IT processes, managing IT portfolios, and implementing proposals to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the division. This position requires a strong background in IT portfolio management and the ability to analyze and make recommendations based on collected data.

Responsibilities

  • Provide IT management advisory support to the IT Division in support and execution of NSWC Corona Division IT requirements.
  • Assist with operations that consist of assessing the division's current state and improving current processes by developing new plans.
  • Assess, plan, advise, and improve the IT division to fill gaps and transition to new processes.
  • Evaluate, manage, and oversee all aspects of an IT portfolio to improve functionality and efficiency.
  • Review industry standards and develop proposals to improve business efficiency and IT operational structure.
  • Implement approved proposals in support of NSWC Corona Division, including program execution and sustainment.
  • Perform advisory support research, developing plans and proposals, and executing the advised IT capabilities.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED with more than ten (10) years of relevant IT portfolio management experience and five (5) years of experience in information analysis.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field with seven (7) years of relevant IT portfolio management experience and three (3) years of experience in information analysis.
  • A master's degree in a relevant field with five (5) years of relevant IT portfolio management experience and experience in information analysis.
  • Adhere to 8570.01M CWF Requirements.
  • SECRET Clearance is required.
  • US Citizenship Required.
