About the position

The Computer Systems Engineer / Architect (Cloud Security / Identity) position at CACI is a critical role focused on designing, implementing, and managing secure cloud architectures, particularly on AWS. The role emphasizes the development and enforcement of cloud security best practices and policies, as well as the integration of identity management solutions. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to enhance identity and access management capabilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage secure cloud architectures on AWS.
  • Develop and enforce cloud security best practices and policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of identity management solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement identity governance solutions, focusing on Okta, SailPoint, and related technologies.
  • Manage and optimize Active Directory and other directory services.
  • Conduct security assessments and audits of existing systems and applications.
  • Respond to security incidents and implement remediation strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on security and identity management practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement secure access controls and authentication mechanisms.

Requirements

  • Active DOD Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud security, identity management, or related fields
  • Strong expertise in AWS services and architecture
  • Proficient in identity management solutions, particularly Okta, Ping, SailPoint, Radiant Logic, and CyberArk
  • Experience with Active Directory and directory service management
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and compliance regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) are a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, AWS CDK, CLI)
  • Knowledge of network security principles and practices
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a federal or government contracting environment.
