About the position

The Computer Technician I position is responsible for performing on-site technical work to install and maintain computer equipment, network, and software applications throughout the district or at assigned campuses. Responsibilities

• Install and maintain computer equipment and software applications throughout the district.

• Install and maintain network cables and hardware.
• Perform repairs on computers and peripherals.
• Provide technical support for computer workstation setup.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Clear and valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of computer workstation setup and requirements.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications.
• Ability to install, maintain, and repair computers and peripherals.
• Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs.
