About the position

The position involves performing on-site technical work to install, maintain, repair, and support computer equipment, software, and related peripherals. The individual will be responsible for responding to technology support ticket requests for various technology issues and needs in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair computer equipment and software.
• Support related peripherals and ensure they are functioning properly.
• Respond to technology support ticket requests in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems and perform necessary repairs or remediation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must meet security clearance requirements in compliance with Texas Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) access policy.
• Knowledge of computer workstation setup (Windows required; Chrome OS and iOS preferred).
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications.
• Ability to install, support, maintain, and repair computers and peripherals.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems.
