About the position
The Englewood Public School District is seeking a Computer Technician Specialist to join their team. This position is essential for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems within the district. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or information technology, along with practical experience in a similar role. The Computer Technician Specialist will work collaboratively with a diverse group of clients and will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to various software and hardware systems.
Requirements
- College/university degree in the field of computer science or information technology, or two (2) years equivalent work experience
- Extensive knowledge of Office365 applications
- Knowledge of Current Microsoft Windows
- Knowledge of Chromebooks
- Apple Certified Macintosh Technician preferable
- Knowledge of software applications, internet applications, networking protocols and VOIP
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with a diverse group of clients in a professional environment
- A strong work ethic with the ability to multitask and flexible to change in a high pressure environment
