About the position

The Computer Technician position at ABBTECH Professional Resources, in partnership with Dell, involves providing individual home PC deployment for remote users in the Nashville, TN area. This is a short-term contract role requiring technical expertise and customer service skills to ensure smooth deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform individual home PC deployment for remote users in the Nashville, TN area.
• Follow verbal and written instructions for deployment tasks.
• Update tracking systems as directed.
• Provide excellent customer service during deployment processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and 1 year of experience with at least a CompTIA A+ certification or at least 2 years of experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working as an End User Computing PC/Laptop Deployment Team member.
• Proven customer service background.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and update tracking systems as directed.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Strong ability to work independently.
• Detail-oriented, independent, self-starter, and customer service oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and be on feet all day, including walking to different buildings and up and down stairs.

Nice-to-haves

• MCP, MCSE, CNE or Network+ certification is a plus.
• Certification in various hardware platforms may optionally be required for servicing hardware issues.
