About the position

The Computer Vision AI Software Developer, Lead is responsible for designing and implementing AI solution architectures that address complex business problems using various AI technologies. This role involves leading Agile teams, mentoring employees, and providing innovative solutions while ensuring compliance with organizational strategies and ethical considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective AI solution architecture or strategy utilizing various AI technologies.
• Lead Agile teams in software and AI projects.
• Mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.
• Work on complex problems and provide innovative solutions.
• Coordinate systems engineering meetings and review software architectures for compliance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with software development, implementation, design, and code review.
• 4+ years of experience leading Agile teams in software and AI projects.
• Experience with data streaming technologies and architecture, including Apache NiFi, Spark, or Kafka.
• Experience with modern software design patterns, including micro-service design and containerized orchestration in Kubernetes.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of designing solutions on cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to provide risk assessments and lead multi-organization meetings.
• Doctorate degree in Computer Science or Statistics.
