About the position

The Packaging Technician at Sunburn Cannabis is responsible for performing various manufacturing tasks within a labor-intensive environment. This role involves setting up processes and equipment, packaging finished goods, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). The technician will operate different packaging lines and maintain a safe and clean work environment while contributing to continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Operate various packaging lines in different Manufacturing Departments including manual to semi-automatic packaging and weigh & fill-line equipment.
• Maintain a safe work environment and contribute to continuous improvements.
• Perform weigh and dispense activities of finished products and raw materials.
• Document all manufacturing activities consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Perform manual manufacturing activities as required and maintain cleanliness in manufacturing spaces.
• Observe, monitor, and record temperature, pressure, and other parameters on manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Perform minor equipment and process maintenance activities.
• Use the company's seed to sale and/or other regulatory mandated databases.
• Communicate effectively with the Manufacturing Manager, Supervisor, and Operator peer group.
• Maintain personal training status and records consistent with company policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to build and manage teams.
• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
