About the position

The Concessions Server at Living Room Theaters is responsible for providing excellent customer service to moviegoers and lounge patrons by taking food orders, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role emphasizes the importance of building rapport with guests and adhering to safety regulations, including age verification for alcohol service. The position supports the theater's mission to create great experiences and promote local community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from patrons in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of the lounge and work area.
• Build rapport with guests to enhance their experience.
• Verify age and ID for alcohol service.
• Provide a warm and welcoming environment for all guests.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Support a professional and inclusive work environment free of harassment.
• Manage food orders for special events as needed.
• Communicate clearly and positively with staff, vendors, and management.
• Assist fellow coworkers and maintain a team-oriented atmosphere.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment is highly recommended.
• Knowledge of Oregon's alcohol laws and regulations.
• Strong working knowledge of beer, wines, and liquors.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Strong cash handling skills and ability to maintain an accurate cash drawer.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• 1 year of serving experience preferred.
