About the position

The Concierge Administrative Specialist role is a hybrid position that combines customer service with administrative and shipping responsibilities. The position requires on-site work at the company's headquarters in Houston, TX, where the specialist will manage various tasks, including customer interactions, administrative duties, and support for the concierge team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing hands-on work with customer service to ensure a positive experience for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble small kits for customers, primarily for shutter repairs.
  • Ship small sampling items and other materials as needed, requiring strong attention to detail.
  • Receive and manage packages, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Assist the concierge team with office-based projects.
  • Manage overflow from the call center during peak call times.
  • Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication, active listening, and empathy.
  • Deliver exceptional service by solving problems and transforming frustrated clients into loyal customers.
  • Provide technical product and program information to customers.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of products and services through training.
  • Exceed customer expectations by offering personalized solutions with every interaction.
  • Take ownership of the customer experience from start to finish, managing expectations and delivering thoughtful resolutions.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask effectively.
  • Comfortable handling escalated customer situations with a calm and solution-focused approach.
  • A proactive problem-solver and self-starter.
  • A team player with a positive attitude.
  • Reliable and punctual with a track record of excellent attendance.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
  • Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
