About the position

The Gaming Concierge at Resorts World Las Vegas serves as the primary point of contact for guests on the casino floor, focusing on slot machine services. This role involves welcoming guests, enrolling them in the Genting Rewards program, processing jackpots, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Circulate through an assigned area and respond to slot machine calls and customer requests promptly.
  • Provide excellent and personalized guest service while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
  • Assist guests with property and slot-related questions, including payouts and enrollment in the Genting Rewards program.
  • Promote Genting Rewards and Resorts World offerings to guests, staying informed about property news and events.
  • Complete control documentation accurately, including jackpot slips and tax forms, in compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain a secure currency bank for hand-paying jackpots and providing change assistance.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Cage, Food & Beverage, and Security to resolve guest issues.
  • Assist the Casino Operations Team with tasks or special events as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with gaming laws and company policies relevant to the position.
  • Utilize personal devices for job-related tasks and communication.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor in line with Resorts World standards.
  • Strong cash handling and basic math skills.
  • Above average computer and technical skills.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to company and department rules and regulations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in slot operations.
  • Experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
  • At least 3 years of cash handling experience.
