About the position

The Concierge/Receptionist role at Juniper Communities is a part-time position focused on creating a welcoming environment for residents, family members, and visitors. This position is essential in managing the front desk operations, handling administrative tasks, and supporting the marketing department. The role emphasizes the importance of first impressions and effective communication within the senior living community.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and directs visitors to the building and maintains a clean and organized workspace including waiting and concierge areas.
  • Assists the marketing department as needed with phone calls and database work.
  • Answers incoming phone calls, forwards and takes messages as appropriate.
  • Assists in mailing and marketing initiatives by organizing and distributing mail, sending and receiving packages, and preparing community invitations, notices, and flyers as directed.
  • Performs secretarial and computer/data processing duties such as preparing reports and logs, coordinating move-ins, resident assessments and transportation, and preparing resident files.
  • Prepares training materials and assists with coordination of the onboarding/hiring process as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma is preferred.
  • Aptitude for math and computer knowledge preferred.
  • Previous healthcare or service-related experience preferred.
